Katy Thomson — Soprano Website Redesign

Katy had an established career and plenty of material, on a WordPress site that had grown organically. The redesign brought that material into a coherent digital home, with a visual identity and structure shaped around her work.

Performances, recordings, reviews, coaching and representation — reorganised into one digital home that reflects her as a professional soprano.

The brief

What changed

  • Identity — a warm recital-programme feel: charcoal and ivory, oxblood accents, Bodoni Moda with DM Sans, original photography only.
  • Structure — Home, About, Diary, Media, Reviews, Contact, plus Coaching with Vocal and Performance pages.
  • Hierarchy — each part of the career given the format its job needs, rather than one long page style.

01 · Diary

From free-form dates to a structured diary

New website

New website Diary listings: Upcoming and Archive tabs, an event filter, and dated entries with venue, time and ticket links
New website Diary page: full-bleed portrait with the Diary heading and a link to upcoming dates

Page opening

02 · Media

Recordings presented, not just embedded

Old website

03 · Reviews

Quotes given an editorial stage

New website

04 · Contact & representation
